Wesley's 40-bed Pediatric Unit provides care for sick and injured children up to the age of 18. The entire unit is geared toward the needs of children and their families. Among the staff are child-life specialists who focus on helping children feel comfortable while in the hospital. They use age-appropriate explanations of procedures, therapeutic play and stress-reduction activities.
